Every animal offered through our program has been carefully evaluated because we believe it reflects the quality of our breeding program and our family name. We don’t list animals we wouldn’t be proud to put in our own herd.
Our Promise
When you purchase from us, you can expect:
- Honest, transparent communication throughout the process
- A pressure-free buying experience — private treaty, on your terms
- Accurate information about each animal to the best of our knowledge
- Animals that have successfully completed a Breeding Soundness Examination prior to sale
- Ongoing support before and after your purchase
- Practical recommendations based on your breeding goals
In these situations, buyers may also choose to transfer their deposit toward another available animal rather than receiving a refund.
Breeding Guarantee
We stand behind the breeding ability of our bulls. Should a bull become unable to breed due to reasons determined to have existed prior to the transfer of ownership, please contact us immediately.
Depending on the circumstances, we may:
- Provide a suitable replacement bull, subject to availability
- Offer credit toward a future purchase
- Work with the buyer to determine a fair and reasonable resolution
This guarantee does not cover injury, illness, neglect, improper management, accidents, disease exposure after delivery, or circumstances outside of our control.
Honest Representation — Always
Every listing on this site is written to accurately represent the animal. EPDs are sourced from breed association records. Birth weights, wean weights, temperament notes, and physical descriptions reflect what we know to be true at the time of listing.
We note animals with higher energy levels. We do not over-describe or use language designed to inflate perceived value. If you have a question about a specific animal that’s not answered in the listing, ask — you’ll get a straight answer.
If you ever feel an animal was materially misrepresented, contact us immediately. We take that seriously and will respond promptly.
Limitation of Liability
Because livestock are living animals, Weisgerber Brothers Simmental cannot guarantee future performance once an animal leaves our care. Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the animal and does not extend to:
- Lost breeding seasons
- Lost income
- Veterinary expenses
- Transportation costs
- Indirect or consequential damages
