Farm Pickup
Buyers are welcome to pick up their animal directly from our farm, located approximately 10 minutes west of Medicine Hat, Alberta on Hwy #3.
Pickup is by appointment only. Once your deposit is received, we’ll reach out to coordinate a time. Please ensure your trailer is clean, safe, and suitable for transporting livestock. We’ll assist with loading and make sure your animal is ready to go.
Delivery
Delivery is available throughout Alberta and surrounding areas. Our current delivery policy is as follows:

First-Time Buyers Beyond 100 km
Delivery will be quoted for any distance beyond 100 km.
Outside Our Regular Service Area
Long-distance delivery may be available upon request. Please contact us before purchasing to confirm availability and pricing.
Delivery Scheduling
Delivery dates will be arranged directly with each buyer after purchase. While we make every effort to meet requested timelines, delivery dates may be adjusted due to:
- Weather or road conditions
- Animal welfare considerations
- Mechanical issues
- Farm scheduling
- Other unforeseen circumstances
We will communicate any changes as early as possible and work with you to find the next available date.
Risk During Transportation
Until delivery has been completed or the animal has been picked up, Weisgerber Brothers Simmental remains responsible for the animal.
Once the animal has been unloaded onto the buyer’s property or loaded onto the buyer’s trailer, responsibility transfers to the purchaser.
Preparing for Arrival
Before your animal arrives, please ensure you have the following in place:
- Secure fencing suitable for breeding cattle
- Fresh, clean water available at all times
- Quality feed and forage
- Appropriate shelter where required by weather or conditions
- Adequate space for introducing the animal to existing livestock
